Welcome to Mini Me Bunch Child Care

Our Philosophy

Developmentally Appropriate Practice

1. Teachers should use a play-based approach that is child-centered and hands-on. - Differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. - Encouraging social interaction and collaboration among children. - Providing opportunities for exploration and problem-solving.

2. Developmentally Appropriate Environments:

Classrooms should be organized to promote active engagement and independence. - Materials and resources should be accessible and at the appropriate developmental level. - Safe and inviting spaces that inspire creativity and curiosity. - Outdoor areas that encourage physical activity and exploration.

3. Developmentally Appropriate Learning Opportunities:

Varied activities that cater to different learning styles and interests. - Incorporating real-world experiences and hands-on learning opportunities. - Opportunities for self-expression through art, music, drama, and storytelling. - Integration of technology in a purposeful and age-appropriate manner.

 4. Plan for Leadership Support:

Provide professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.

Conduct regular observations and feedback sessions to ensure loyalty to the program's expectations. - Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement among staff members. - Allocate resources and support to ensure classrooms are well-equipped with materials and tools that support developmentally appropriate practices.

By adhering to these expectations and implementing a comprehensive plan for leadership support, teachers can create enriching environments that promote children's holistic development and learning. Leadership support is crucial in providing guidance, resources, and encouragement to ensure that developmentally appropriate practices are consistently implemented throughout the program.
